iGate sets up centre of excellence
HYDERABAD:
iGate Global Solutions, a leading technology solutions provider, has announced the setting up of an enterprise resource planning centre of excellence (CoE) at its software development centre in Hyderabad. The company has invested about $1.5 million (about Rs. 7 crore) in the new facility and plans to add about 150 people in the near term. The new centre seeks to consolidate its range of ERP offerings, which have been witnessing changes in the marketplace. The CoE would be instrumental in developing intellectual property (IP) solutions like Portfolio Connect, which helped provide seamless integration between ERP systems and other applications.
