Food safety awareness programme held

KOCHI: A district-level food safety awareness programme was organised by the State Health Department in Kochi on Wednesday.

K.T. Remani, district medical officer, inaugurated the workshop.

D. Sivadas, law officer, Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, A. Bhadran, Government Analyst, Regional Analytical Laboratory, and Joseph Shaji George, district food inspector, spoke.

Nearly 150 delegates attended the programme.
