Anil Biswas still critical

Special Correspondent

KOLKATA: The condition of Anil Biswas, State Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), who was admitted to a nursing home after suffering a massive brain haemorrhage on Saturday, remains "critical but stable," doctors attending on him said on Wednesday.

There was "a slight setback" in his condition on Tuesday evening, according to them.

A bulletin released by the nursing home on Wednesday said Mr. Biswas' neurological status remained unchanged.
