Chandigarh: Seven new judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court were sworn in here on Wednesday, raising the strength of the Court to 33. Chief Justice D K Jain adminstered the oath to Ranjit Singh Randhawa, Vinod Kumar Sharma, Tej Partap Singh Mann, Mahesh Grover, Ajai Lamba, Rajesh Bindal and Paramjit Singh Patwalia. The seven have been elevated from the Bar of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The High Court is still 20 short of its sanctioned strength of 53 judges.
