HYDERABAD: Normally, members of an opposition party stage a walkout in protest against the Government's action or attitude. But, Wednesday saw every party protesting in some form or the other. While, the suspended TDP members blocked the doors of the Speaker's office and the entry point of the officers to the House raising slogans against the Government, the Congress MLAs rushed to the Gandhi statue to protest against the TDP protest. They too raised slogans against the TDP leadership. The TDP's dharna ended only after the Speaker summoned the marshals to remove them from the corridor as they were obstructing the passage of the officials. This also led to sending away of the cameramen of the channels and newspapers drawing protests from them too. Strange was the walkout by the Janata Party members from the House as they are the associate members of the Congress Legislature Party too. They walked out to register their resentment against the main Opposition TDP for "wasting the time of the House for 16 days" on Sripadasagar project. Before the walkout, K. Ramulu charged the TDP with making needless allegations just to derive publicity. There were no allegations against the Government, the Minister or the officials, he claimed.
