CHENNAI: The Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, is conducting six-week summer training programmes in Physics and Chemistry for students entering the final year of M.Sc. The programmes will comprise both theoretical lecture courses and hands-on laboratory experience. 20 students will be selected in each discipline.

They will have the opportunity to work with leading scientists of the centre, and will be paid a stipend of Rs. 3,000 a month and II class train travel expenses will be reimbursed.The last date for receipt of applications is March 31.
