Rally marks World Water Day

Bangalore:
As part of the World Water Day celebrations, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy flagged off a walkathon and rally in front of the Vidhana Soudha here on Wednesday to create awareness about water conservation.
The event was organised by the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board and Young Men's Christian Association. The participants displayed awareness messages and carried empty pots urging the people to conserve water. Under-privileged children and YMCA volunteers participated in the rally.
Minister for Health R. Ashok, Minister for Agriculture Bandeppa Kashmepur and BWSSB officials were present.
