Course

Maharisi Play School will organise a three-week summer course for students in April and May. It will be held for juniors (aged below 10) and seniors (those aged above 10). Classes will be held in handwriting improvement, drawing, colouring, vocal music and handicrafts.

Grievances meeting

The Superintending Engineer of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Coimbatore Metro, will organise a grievances meeting on March 25 at the office of the Superintending Engineer, Metro Office, Tatabad.

Pujas

Mandala pujas will conclude on March 25 at Sri Varasiddhi Vinayagar, Varadaraja Perumal - Mahalakshmi temples, Vignesh Nagar.

Youth killed

A 29-year-old youth was run over by a speeding lorry at Kumar Nagar on Avanashi Road in Tirupur on Wednesday. The police said Marikkani of Rajapalayam was on his way to his company near municipality on a motorbike. A lorry hit from behind and he died on the spot. The lorry driver was absconding, the police said.

BSNL announcement

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Coimbatore, has announced that the talktime value is doubled to Rs. 100 from Rs. 50 for Excel prepaid customers and to Rs. 198 from Rs. 99 for Excel Anant customers who activate new connections from the midnight of March 22 to the midnight to March 31.
