Chairs donated to railway station

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Railway Passengers Association has donated 21 chairs to the Coimbatore Railway Junction.

Handed over

The association president, N.V. Nagasubramanian, the secretary, S. Vaidyanathakrishnan, and the joint secretary, C.S.K. Prabhu, handed over the chairs to the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Southern Railway, Palakkad Division, V. Rajagopalan.

With care

The perforated steel chairs designed with care to ensure maximum comfort for users cost over Rs. 20,000.

The railway administration had welcomed associations and voluntary organisations to contribute their mite for improving passenger amenities at the railway station.
