Man robbed of cash

BANGALORE:
An autorickshaw driver and his two accomplices robbed a man of Rs. 2,000 in cash and a mobile phone in Madivala Police Station limits on Tuesday night.
The police said Devaraj, who works as a cashier of a bar and restaurant in Murphy Town, got down from a bus on Hosur Road and was waiting for an autorickshaw to reach his house at Koodlu.
An autorickshaw driver offered to drop Devaraj at Koodlu. After travelling some distance, the driver and two others, who were already in the autorickshaw, threatened Devaraj and robbed him of cash and telephone. The Madivala police have registered a case.
Man murdered
K.R. Sreenivasa (52), who was hit on the head with iron rods on Monday night, died on Tuesday. The police said Sreenivasa, a security supervisor at International Technology Park Ltd., was a resident of Shankar Dikshitpura in Kadugodi town.
