University of Kerala Memorial lecture: The Prof. Damodaran Memorial lecture organised by the university will be held at the Botany hall on March 24. The memorial lecture on `DNA Fingerprinting for Modern Crime Investigation' will be delivered by J. Nagaraju. A technical session on `DNA Technologies' will be held at 10 a.m. on that day. Book release: Vice-Chancellor M.K. Ramachandran Nair will release three more books in the series `Traditions of Kerala,' brought out by the International Centre for Kerala Studies, at 10 a.m. on March 29 at the Senate Chamber. A one-day seminar on `folk plays in Kerala' will also be held that day. Postponed: The first-year LLB (three year) examinations and the third-year LLB (five-year), supplementary papers, scheduled to commence on March 27 have been postponed to begin on April 3. Thesis: The theses of the MD, MS examinations scheduled in May should be submitted before April 17. BCA examinations: Applications for the sixth-semester vocational BCA examinations beginning April 3 and the fourth-semester examinations beginning April 17 can be submitted without fine till March 25 and with a fine of Rs.50 till March 27.
