She had no option

Ms. Gandhi had no option but to resign. The question now is: what are other MPs belonging to different parties allegedly holding offices of profit going to do? Will they resign too?

Ms. Gandhi's resignation is another gimmick to gain popularity. As one holding an office of profit, the question of her holding the MP post does not arise at all. How can she `resign' from a post she is not deemed to be holding? It is like a person disqualified from holding a degree surrendering it.
