Dry weather likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Mainly dry weather prevailed over coastal Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and interior Karnataka.

On Wednesday the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over interior Karnataka, south Tamil Nadu, fell at one or two places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, coastal Tamil Nadu, above normal at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, Telangana, below normal at one or two places over Kerala and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Forecast (valid until Saturday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Kerala and mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: Sunny weather.
