Theatre personalities to be honoured

Bangalore:
World Theatre Day will be observed here by Antharanga of Basavanagudi, with a programme in memory of C.G. Krishnaswamy who dedicated himself to the amateur theatre movement in Karnataka.
He was also director of Bangalore University's Gandhi Bhavan.
On March 27, C.K. Gundanna, a senior theatre personality, and Yamuna Murthy, another senior artiste, will be honoured by art director Shashidar Adapa and theatre and TV artiste Bhargavi Narayan.
Theatre critic Narayan Raichur will be one of the chief guests.
There will also be a "ranga meravanige" from Mohammed Peer Rangasthala of Suchitra Kalakendra to H.N. Kalakshetra at National College.
