Prohibitory orders imposed in city

HYDERABAD: City Police Commissioner A. K. Mohanty on Thursday prohibited holding of public meetings and processions in the twin cities from 6 a.m. on March 24 to 6 a.m. on March 30. The Commissioner also prohibited carrying of arms such as swords, sticks, and explosive substances. Use of public address system around the Secretariat premises, including Burgula Ramakrishna Rao building, MCH office, Mint Compound and flyover from Secretariat to Visvesvaraya statue in Khairatabad was also banned.
