Emirates to recruit cabin crew from South

Staff Reporter

New recruits will undergo training

Thiruvananthapuram: Ahead of the launch of its eight-flights-a-week service to Bangalore from October 29, Emirates will visit Bangalore to recruit personnel for cabin crew positions and to meet the airline's ever-increasing demand for a multi-national workforce.

A team of recruitment officers from the airline's headquarters in Dubai will reach Bangalore next month to conduct recruitments for select cabin crew positions. This exercise is a follow-up to the airline's recently held cabin crew recruitment programme in Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Goa, a release from the airline said.

Applicants from the country in the past have demonstrated high calibre, confidence, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, maturity and a positive attitude, according to Emirates vice-president, India & Nepal, Salem Obaidalla.

Those short-listed will be invited for an interview in April. Successful candidates will join Emirates' multi-cultural team of over 100 nationalities. The new recruits will undergo five weeks of training and assessment at the world-class Emirates Aviation College in Dubai.
