Bail denied

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Thursday declined to grant bail to Vikas Yadav, former Rajya Sabha member D.P. Yadav's son, in the Nitish Katara murder case.

Justice S.K. Agrawal refused to release Vikas on bail as the case was in an advanced stage of hearing. The police had cancelled the passport of Bharti Yadav, sister of Vikas, who is in England.

Vikas, along with his cousin Vishal, had allegedly killed Nitish in February 2002 for his friendship with Bharti Yadav.
