THRISSUR: The Hindu Aikya Vedi has demanded that the Government and the Guruvayur Devaswom should take urgent steps for the acquisition of land around the Sri Krishna Temple as directed by the High Court. In a statement issued here on Friday Vedi general secretary E.S. Biju said any efforts to further scuttle the spirit of the High Court order will be met with intense protests. He said the State conference of the Vedi beginning at Guruvayur on Saturday will chalk out different forms of protests against the neglect of the temple town by the authorities.
