THRISSUR: A 25-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl were found dead in a lodge at Guruvayur on Friday. The police said the deceased had been identified as Kannanthara Veettil Nissar from Kumbalangi near Kochi and Chirakkal Veettil Anju from the same area. The police said the duo had taken a room in the lodge around Thursday midnight saying that they wanted to offer prayers at the nearby Sri Krishna Temple. The lodge staff and the police broke open the door when it was found closed on Friday morning. The bodies were found hanging in the room. The police said a suicide note had been recovered from the room. The parents of Anju had lodged a complaint with the Ernakulam police alleging that she had been missing for the last three days.
