MindTree develops advanced satellite handset

CHENNAI: The Bangalore-based global IT and R&D services company, MindTree Consulting, has developed an advanced satellite handset for users of Inmarsat services, both on land and at sea. Developed in close association with Nera SatCom, the handset was designed to work with Nera's latest satellite terminal, the Nera WorldPro 1000. However, it was compatible with older terminals, says a release.
