Dubai: Sachin Tendulkar has dropped to his lowest Test ranking in 13 years while England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is closing in on the No. 1 spot in the all-rounder's table following India's Mumbai Test drubbing this week. The latest LG ICC player rankings for Tests saw Tendulkar drop four places to 16th following his lacklustre show in the drawn three-Test series against England. The England series was the third in succession where Tendulkar failed to average 40 runs per innings. Rahul Dravid dropped one place to be ranked fifth and Virender Sehwag is ranked 10th. Flintoff, named Man of the Series, moved up in the batting and bowling lists to be sixth in the rankings for bowlers, up by one place after taking four wickets in the Mumbai Test. He is now three rating points behind England's leading bowler in the list, Matthew Hoggard. With the bat, Flintoff's twin half-centuries in the third Test helped him move up two places to 24th. He is now 13 points behind South Africa's Jacques Kallis in the all-rounder's list. Among bowlers, Harbhajan Singh moved up three places to be ranked 20. There is no change in the rankings of Anil Kumble (12th) and Irfan Pathan (13th). Rookies Munaf Patel and S. Sreesanth are ranked 51st and 55th respectively. Australia's Ricky Ponting leads the rankings for batsmen ahead of teammate Matthew Hayden and Kallis, while Muttiah Muralitharan of Sri Lanka leads the bowling table followed by the Australian duo of Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne.
