Siemens VC plans investment in India

BANGALORE: Siemens Venture Capital (SVC) is looking at clinching two to three deals in India and China within the next 12 months as part of its Asia investment focus. In line with this plan, SVC is setting up activities in India to identify and finance investments in emerging and innovative technologies and market opportunities to enhance the core business scope of Siemens and create attractive returns on the capital invested. From June 2006, Mr. Rajesh Vakil will handle all venture capital related inquiries in India, working out of Mumbai and Bangalore.
