NEW DELHI:
They are 60 years
The play, to be staged at Vasuki Auditorium (Lok Kala Manch) in Lodhi Institutional Area at 6-30 p.m., will feature men and women in their 60s and above who have been many things in their lives but a professional theatre person. And yet, they will be at the helm of every aspect of a stage performance -- lighting, scripting, direction and, of course, acting.
Senior-most among the cast is an 84-year-old retired senior executive from the Union Ministry of Foreign Trade, while the youngest is a retired vice-principal of Modern School. And the oldest among the backroom boys will be an 87-year-old man, who will be the prompter. The entire cast and crew have had fulfilling lives and have also been supporting HelpAge India activities.
