KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting surprised Kingfisher East Bengal 1-0 in the concluding round of the group I league to bring up a tie on top of the table in the inaugural Manchester United Premier Cup's (under-15) India leg here on Friday. The final round of group saw a three-way tie as Tollygunge Agragami beat JCT Mills 1-0 to join East Bengal and Mohammedan Sporting with six points. East Bengal, with a goal difference of plus four, nudged its two challengers on goal average before moving into the final. The results: Group I: Mohammedan Sporting 1 bt East Bengal 0; Tollygunge Agragami 1 bt JCT Mills 0. Group II: Mohun Bagan 1 bt Mahindra United 0; Vasco SC 1 bt Ever Ready Association 0.
