ONGOLE: All the telephone subscribers of BSNL can now get Internet connection as post paid service in the entire Prakasam district thanks to calling line identification (CLI) based Internet service. Launching the service here on Friday, Deputy General Manager of BSNL G. Kondiah said that the telephone subscribers can now register themselves for post-paid Internet service on their own. They would be charged Rs. 6 per hour for Internet use in their telephone bill. They need not pay any monthly charges for Internet service other than usage charge. They can get disconnected when they do not need the Internet service.
Post-paid service
The subscribers can register themselves through their computer with modem facility as dial up facility. By clicking on dial up icon and using telephone number 17 2222, they can type netone both for username and password. They can later register themselves using their telephone number with STD code as their user name and selecting their own password. Mr. Kondaiah said that the subscribers need not buy prepaid Internet coupons now. They can register for Internet as post-paid service from their homes. They need pay only usage charge for the service.
