APSP battalion for Sattupalli

HYDERABAD: The 15th Andhra Pradesh Special Police Battalion will be headquartered at Sattupalli in Khammam district. Orders to this effect were issued by Government on Wednesday. It may be recalled that in September last, the Cabinet had approved the raising of a battalion recruiting tribal youth from notified Scheduled areas of the State. A press release from Chief Minister's Office said setting up of the special battalion would enable tribal youth being displaced by the Polavaram Project to get employment.
