CSC scholarship aptitude test to be held on April 2

CHENNAI: CSC Computer Education, which provides computer literacy as also higher end programmes in rural and backward regions, will hold a scholarship aptitude test on April 2 for final year students in colleges and schools and will offer scholarships up to 75 per cent.

The hall tickets can be collected from nearby CSC centres across the State.

No registration fee is charged for students taking the examination.

A CSC release said the scholarship is granted on the basis of marks scored by the aspirants in the general knowledge paper.

A 30 per cent discount is also offered on the basis of the test grades.

A record 1.5 lakhstudents took the test last year. This year, larger number of students is expected, says T. Iyyamperumal, Managing Director.

The CSC has a placement cell, the services of which are offered free.
