THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Activists of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) staged a protest march to the residence of Education Minister E.T.Mohammed Basheer on Friday demanding the resignation of the United Democratic Front Government. DYFI leaders accused the Government of trying to scuttle the probe into the SSLC question paper leak case. It has become evident from the inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation that all question papers of the SSLC examination have leaked. The Crime Branch inquiry has detected the leak. But the Government tried to upset the inquiry and tried to rescue those involved in the case, the federation leaders said. The protest march began from Asan Square at Palayam. District leaders P.Suresh Kumar, D.R.Anil, M.S.Raju, A.J.Sukarno, S.A.Sunder, K.Sasankan, K.S.Sunil, B.Biju, N.S.Vinod, R.Pradeep, Kanjirampara Mohan and A.Ajmal Khan were among those who led the march.
