Vanajakshi assaulted Nagaraj after the latter attacked her mother

BANGALORE: A woman allegedly clubbed her husband to death at their house in Rajagopalanagar police station limits on Thursday and later surrendered to the police. The police gave the name of the dead as Nagaraj (35), a resident of Srigandhanagar in Hegganahalli. On Thursday night, Nagaraj came home in an inebriated state and reportedly stabbed his mother-in-law in the neck with a broken bottle. Angered by the attack on her mother, Nagaraj's wife Vanajakshi (30) allegedly hit him on the head with a club. Nagaraj died instantaneously, the police said.
