CHENNAI: Windsor Sathyam Separations Systems, specialising in turning out products in the field of wastewater treatment, has launched "Windsor Sathyam Patented MTV Evaporator" with polymeric heat exchangers. Addressing presspersons here on Friday, G. Arun, Founder and Managing Director of the company, said using this technology it is possible to feed in any wastewater directly into the system and recover pure water at a cost of five paise per litre. The system works on mechanical vapour recompression principle with operating cost lower by 80 per cent compared to conventional evaporators. These low-cost chemical-free wastewater treatment systems have been installed in some organisations in the TVS group and Premier Mills group, Mr. Arun said. According to Mr. Arun the company will close the current financial year with a turnover of Rs. 40 crore and is hopeful of touching Rs. 200 crore in the next financial year.
