Officials to explain scheme to elected representatives, beneficiaries

ANANTAPUR: An awareness programme will be taken up on Indiramma scheme in villages from April 2 to 10 explaining the objectives and modalities to the village and mandal level elected representatives and beneficiaries.Six officials from the district were given training at Hyderabad from March 22 to 24. They included officials from zilla parishad, and departments of women and child welfare, rural water supply, panchayat raj, housing and rural development. Training for officials would be held at Hindupur, Dharmavaram and Gooty from March 27 to 29 and at Kadiri, Kalyanadurg and Anantapur from March 31 to April 1.
