Banks urged to be liberal in funding schemes

MAHABUBNAGAR: The district-level consultative committee of bankers, which was held under the chairmanship of Joint Collector G. Satyaprasad Rao, here on Saturday, has agreed to ground all the pending units of 2005-06 by May-end. The Joint Collector has urged the bankers to be liberal in funding various schemes.

Nagarkurnool Member of Parliament M. Jagannatham has said that certain banks are performing well while banks like IOB and Punjab National Bank are lagging behind in grounding of the units.
