SVU to launch course in film and TV arts

Sri Venkateswara University will be launching a self-supporting master's programme in Film and TV Arts from the academic year 2006-07.

Vice-Chancellor S. Jayarama Reddy has announced that the programme will be a comprehensive course to impart education and provide practical training in film-making and television presentation as well. Specialisation will be offered initially in core areas like direction, acting, cinematograpy and animation & graphics.

Tinseltown glitterati will be roped in to add a practical dimension to the course.

B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) has decided to incorporate information about the status of students' tuition fee payment, optional subjects selected, status of examinations appeared and results with marks on its website

www.braou.ac.in, to enable students to view the latest position.

Students can browse the website by entering the last seven digits of their Admission number.

General public can browse the website for updated general information about the university programmes offered, qualification required and fee charged for the programmes.
