HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K. Chandrasekhara Rao has called upon the party cadre to punish rebel MLAs led by Dugyala Srinivasa Rao for "aligning" with anti-Telangana forces and playing down hopes on formation of a separate State. It was unfortunate that some MLAs had fallen into the trap of the Congress and were running a `vicious campaign,' he said while addressing the executive meeting of the party here on Sunday. This was despite BJP president Rajnath Singh's emphatic support to the cause. Mr. Rao is also stated to have declared his intention to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi with leaders of friendly parties after March 30 to mount pressure on them to introduce a bill in Parliament for creation of the new State.
