Dry weather likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Kerala and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.

On Saturday the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, fell at one or two places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region. Kadapa, Nizamabad, Nandyal and Bhadrachalam recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40 degree Celsius in the region.

The minimum temperature rose at a few places over Telangana, rose at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest Telangana, fell at one or two places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.

Forecast (valid until Tuesday morning ): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Kerala and Lakshadweep and mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
