LJP to go with Congress in West Bengal
Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI:
The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) will contest in alliance with the Congress in West Bengal but has so far been unable to find allies from major parties in the rest of the States going to the polls from next month. As things stood, the LJP would contest alone in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Pondicherry party president Ram Vilas Paswan told newspersons on Saturday.
In West Bengal, the LJP would put up 10 candidates , he said. His brother Ram Chandra Paswan would be visiting the States going to the polls in an effort to avoid a contest among the UPA allies and supporting parties.
