Four killed in accidents

Shimla: Four persons were killed and 22 others injured in separate accidents in Himachal Pradesh, police sources said on Sunday. Two persons were killed and 19 others were injured when a tempo skidded off the road near Palakwah in Haroli area, 25 km from Una, last evening, police sources said. The injured persons were rushed to zonal hospital at Una while three serious injured persons were referred to PGI Chandigarh. The deceased were identified as Kulwinder and Manjeet Singh. In another accident, two persons were killed and three others were injured when a mini truck went out of control near Baitli, 30-km from Rampur and Ani area of Kullu district. The truck was returning after unloading sand at Ranabagh when the mishap took place. The deceased were identified as Gopal and Nahar Chand.
