SETTING THE AGENDA: Left Democratic Front convener Paloli Mohammed Kutty addresses the media after the LDF State committee meeting in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LDF convener Paloli Mohammed Kutty on Sunday said that chance of victory was the sole criteria for allocation of seats among the Front allies. Briefing reporters on conclusion of the LDF State committee meeting here, the LDF convener said though the CPI(M) had decided to contest 90 seats, it would finally do that only if the allocation process allows it to do so. Asked whether the alliance would field A. Neelalohithadasan Nadar of JD(S), convicted in a sexual harassment case, in Kovalam, the LDF convener said the LDF State committee's job was to allocate seats to individual parties and the choice of candidates was left to them.
