Power cut

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended in parts of Purasaiwakkam, Kellys, Muthialpet, Esplanade, Mandaveli, Kondithope, Chindatripet, VOC Nagar, Foreshore Estate, Thirumullaivoyal, Choolaimedu and RA Puram on Tuesday.

Blood donation

The Lions Club of Velachery conducted a blood donation camp on Saturday at the Academy of Maritime Education and Training, Kanathur. Around 342 units of blood were collected.

IIT entrance coaching classes

The Science and Mathematics Academy for Real Talents (SMART) will be offering IIT entrance exam coaching classes for XI and Plus-Two students from April 3 onwards. Foundation course for class 9 and 10 students will be offered from June. Mathematics Olympiad classes for classes 6 to 10 will also be offered from June. Contact K.K. Campus interviews

Around 253 students at the Guru Nanak College were placed through campus interviews. More than 20 companies conducted the interviews at the college.

School annual day

The 45th annual day of the Sree Venkateshwara MHSS, Nursery and Primary section, Royapettah, was celebrated Friday. Albert Muthumalai, principal, Loyola College presided.

Seminar

The RKM Vivekananda College, Mylapore organised a national seminar on `Indian Philosophical Heritage: A Re-understanding' on March 8 to 10. About 40 papers were presented.
