Corporation keen on building community halls

MANGALORE: The Mangalore City Corporation has launched a drive to promote community participation in schemes sponsored by the Government. It has constructed two community halls to enable the beneficiaries of government schemes to meet. The two halls, which have come up at Surathkal and Matadakani in Mangalore, can seat 150 people at a time and have been built at a cost of Rs. 9 lakhs each.
