NEW DELHI: They were passionate about riding two-wheelers and turned the Capital's roads into racetracks early every Sunday morning. But nearly half a dozen of them landed in the police net on Sunday when they were taking a "joyride" near Gurdwara Bangla Sahib in New Delhi. All the six young men from West Delhi, identified as Sachin, Satender, Jarnail, Sunil, Tarun and Pankaj, come from well-to-do families and were zooming at great speed towards Gurdwara Bangla Sahib when they were intercepted by the police. After initial questioning the police rounded them up for indulging in dangerous driving. Subsequently, their vehicles were impounded and they were taken to the area police station. The accused were booked under Section 107/51 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
