He and two others tried to burgle a house

BANGALORE: The police arrested a person who tried to burgle a house in the Koramangala Police Station limits in the early hours of Saturday. The police gave the name of the arrested person as Darshan.

According to the police, Darshan and two others entered the house at Shobha Apartments near Bellandur Gate and tried to take away a mobile phone and a radio. The occupants of the house, Divya and P.B. Anil, tried to catch the culprits but Anil suffered a knife injury on his shoulder in the melee. The intruders then jumped out of the house from the balcony. Divya and Anil informed the police control room and an alert was issued following which a mobile police patrol questioned Darshan on suspicion near the Tamarind Tree at HSR Layout and recovered two mobile phone handsets and a radio from his possession.

Later, Divya and Anil, who had lodged a complaint, identified their phone and radio. Koramangala police have registered a case and are on the lookout for other two.
