PATHANAMTHITTA: National vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) L. Ganesh has alleged that a resolution unanimously passed by the Communist Party of India (Marxist)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) seeking the release of Abdul Nasser Maudany from jail exposed the support extended to religious fundamentalism and extremism by both the opposing parties. Mr. Ganesh was inaugurating the BJP election convention in Pathanamthitta on Monday afternoon. He claimed that the BJP would open its `account' in the State Legislature this time. He alleged that both the LDF and the UDF were on the verge of destruction.
