Legislators attend discourse on yoga

The one-hour programme was well attended

BANGALORE: Sri Sri Ravishankar of the Art of Living Foundation on Monday gave a special discourse on yoga and meditation to Ministers and legislators.

The programme was organised by Chairman of the Legislative Council V.R. Sudarshan in coordination with Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Krishna at the Vidhana Soudha. The one-hour programme was well attended. Members of the Legislative Council outnumbered those of the Legislative Assembly.

Sri Sri Ravishankar told Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa that if the Government is interested, he will promote "Brand Karnataka" across the world and seek investments in the State. Mr. Yediyurappa told him that he will speak to Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy. Ministers D.H. Shankaramurthy, B. Nagaraj Shetty and Basavaraj Horatti and Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council H.K. Patil were present.
