He brought to focus the powerful kidney racket running in the country. And after having written a book on his own life experience titled "They Stole My Kidney" some time ago, Akram Raza Khan has now joined hands with the Media Commission of the Delhi Catholic Archdiocese to come up with a documentary film about his "horrible" experience with the ugly face of the medical system here. Speaking about his latest venture, Raza Khan, who was in the Capital recently to launch his film, said: "Autobiographies are usually written about the rich and the famous. But when I wrote the book in 2004, it was part of a mission. This film now is an extension of my continuing fight with corruption." "Giving the common man a voice through my work I hope to get justice and ensure that no one else suffers my fate. And later on in my life I want to be able to open an old age home where I will shelter people who are abandoned by their children," said Raza Khan talking about what he hopes to achieve with the "awareness campaigns" he is running through his book and film. -- Bindu Shajan Perappadan
