Apple unveils 8 products

WIDENING RANGE: Yeo Eng Yiong, Product Marketing Manager-Portables, Asia Pacific, Apple Computer, launching new iMac and Mac Mini powered by Intel core duo processor in New Delhi on Tuesday.

NEW DELHI: Apple Computer on Tuesday launched eight new products in the Indian market, ranging from digital music players and lifestyle software to notebooks and Intel's dual-core chip-based systems.

The products include a 1GB iPod Nano (Rs. 9,700), an iPod AV connection kit (Rs. 6,700), iPod Hi-Fi (Rs. 27,700), digital lifestyle app suite iLife `06 (Rs. 4,800), a new iMac featuring Intel core duo processor (starting Rs. 79,800), a Mac mini (starting Rs. 35,500), productivity software iWork `06 (Rs. 4,800), and MacBook Pro notebooks (Rs. 1.17 lakh for 1.67 GHz and Rs. 1.44 lakh for 1.83 GHz version).

The products will be available through the company's existing network of distributors and dealers. — UNI
