Directive to telecom companies

NEW DELHI: The Union Government has directed telecom service providers to put appropriate monitoring mechanism in place for all types of value added facilities. The Department of Telecommunications said all service providers must start value added services only after making "satisfactory monitoring arrangements'' and ensuring that these are tested by authorised security agencies.
