Militants killed in Kashmir encounter

SRINAGAR: Two unidentified militants were killed in an encounter with security forces at Rajwara forest in Kupwara district of north Kashmir on Monday night.

Two AK assault rifles, eight magazines, 120 rounds and eight hand grenades were recovered from them, official sources said.

Grenade attack

At Kathidarwaza locality of interior Srinagar, a CRPF naka party came under grenade attack by militants on Tuesday evening in which three of the paramilitary force jawans and three civilians were injured.

The grenade exploded with a big bang on the road. — PTI
