Three killed in accidents

Kakinada: Three persons were killed -- two in road accidents and another in accidental fall from a tamarind tree - at different places in the district on Tuesday.

Vennelakanti Srikrishna Prasad (43) of Peddapuram was killed on the spot when a lorry hit the motorcycle he was riding near Pandavula metta on Peddapuram outskirts .

In the second accident, Pilli Govindu (35), a farmer of Palivela village of Kothapet mandal, was killed when a tractor hit the autorickshaw in which he was travelling on the bank of Godavari near Alamuru.

In the third accident that occurred at Appanapalem village under Prattipadu police station limits, Ayinavilli Achaiah (50) who was plucking the tamarind fruits when he fell from the tree and died at the Government General Hospital here.
