Raje for promotion of education

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Tuesday called for preparation of a road-map for development of education while affirming that the related aspects of primary and secondary education should be properly considered in the broad planning for higher and technical education. A meeting of the Rajasthan Education Mission, presided over by Ms. Raje, was held here to deliberate on the strategy for promotion of education. Noted scientist and Member of Parliament K. Kasturirangan attended the meeting. Dr. Kasturirangan, who is also former Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), heads the mission. The meeting was informed that the mission would submit its report to the State Government by June this year.
